How to adjust your sync settings with Autotask PSA

Use this guide to adjust any sync settings for your Autotask PSA integration in ScalePad.
Navigate to Integrations, and select Autotask PSA.


Enable Two-Way SyncTwo-Way Sync - Two-Way Sync allows ScalePad to propagate warranty dates to and from certain integrations.

  1. Under Enable Two-Way Sync Fields, check the appropriate boxes to enable Two-Way Sync for these fields
  2. When you're finished, click Save Autotask PSA Setup

Select Account Types to sync

Depending on the Account Types set up in your Autotask PSA instance, select the ones that you want to sync into ScalePad. Likewise, un-check the types which you would prefer not to sync.

When you're finished adjusting your selections, scroll down and click Save Autotask PSA Setup


Select Product Categories to sync

Autotask PSA "Product Categories" map to asset types in ScalePad. For each type of asset you want to sync into ScalePad, you'll need to map the Product Category to a ScalePad Asset Type.

For example, Switches would map to Network. Likewise, if you'd prefer not to sync a certain Product Category, set its mapping to blank.

When you're finished adjusting your selections, scroll down and click Save Autotask PSA Setup


Sync assets without serial numbers

While we're unable to perform warranty look-ups on hardware assets without serial numbers, there is value to add these assets to your ScalePad account.
