Introduction

On this page we'll walk through adjusting basic settings from your logo and display currency, to the more technical aspects like your hardware replacement and reporting settings.

Hardware tab

Replacement

These are your Hardware Replacement Settings. Set the average hardware replacement value for each of your hardware asset types. This is crucial to ensure you have the most accurate data show up on your Hardware Lifecycle Reports.

Use the Maximum replacement age to determine when a hardware asset is recognized as overdue. ScalePad will use the warranty expiry date as the end-of-life date by default unless changed.

Due soon for replacement

Set the number of days prior to your hardware assets' expiration date, to be recognized as "Due Soon" for replacement.

Lifecycle report

Check the boxes to show the respective features on your Hardware Lifecycle Report. Likewise, un-check the boxes to have them not show.

Warranty coverage tab

Cart

Adjust your Warranty coverage cart settings here. Set your defaults for Markup, Service length, and SLA for each type of hardware asset.

Note: You can also set these at a per-organization level if you'd like different defaults for a specific client of yours.

Due soon for warranty coverage

Set the number of days prior to your hardware assets' expiration date, to be recognized as "Due Soon" for warranty coverage.

Users tab

Security

You can Set up multi-factor authentication here for yourself and/or users in your account. You will need Administrator permissions to adjust this setting.

Manage users

Here is where you can see a list of all user accounts associated with your ScalePad account. As an Administrator, you can click into each user and manage their permissions.

Scheduled Reports tab

Email template

Personalize your Scheduled Reports email template on this page, which sets the account-default template, applied to all organizations.

Template variables

Use the listed template variables to personalize your email template.

My Profile tab

Profile

Edit your name, email address, or even change your password on this page.

You can also enable multi-factor authentication for yourself here, if you have the necessary user permissions.

My Notifications tab

This is where you can Manage your notifications (see the linked article for more).
